Harley Davidson Performance Eyewear uses durable and impact resistant lenses and frame materials that are put through the most stringent tests to ensure they pass the 2010 ANSI standards. The 2010 ANSI standards require the frame and lens be tested as a unit. If at any time during the testing process the lens dislodges from the frame, the style fails.

ANSI High Mass Impact Test: H-D ANSI approved frames and lenses must withstand the weight of a 1.1 lb pointed projectile dropped from a height of 50”.

ANSI High Velocity Impact Test: H-D ANSI approved frames and lenses must withstand the impact of a .25 inch diameter steel ball fired at a speed of 150 fps. This is repeated 20 times from different angles to make sure the lenses and frames are practically indestructible.

ANSI High Velocity Impact Test for Goggles: for even better impact resistance and protection, H-D ANSI approved goggles and lenses must withstand the impact of a .25 inch diameter steel ball fired at a speed of 250 fps.

Polycarbonate Lens: 10 times more impact resistant than plastic lenses. It is also lightweight, provides 100% UVA and UVB protection, scratch resistant, and durable.

AIER

Anti-Fog: minimizes build-up of condensation that causes fogging.

Impacto: developed for Military, Safety and Sport Eyewear, it provides 5-6 times more impact resistance than standard polycarbonate lenses.

EVS Technology: (Enhanced Visual System) provides 20% wider field of vision from edge to edge as compared to conventional lenses.

Ri-Pel: an exclusive coating that generates a water repellent effect on the surface for an easy to clean effect and longer lasting coating durability.

The Fiat Bravo MSN has been launched to coincide with the Bravo Tour Charity Event Which all brings to mind that famous quote by Bill Gates – “If GM had kept up with technology like the computer industry has, we would all be driving $25 cars that got 1000 MPG” Which in turn brought a response from GM, which took exception to Bill’s statement, and issued a press release countering his assertion, which is worth the read in full: If GM had kept up with technology like the Computer Industry has, then: 1. For no reason whatsoever, your car would crash……..Twice a day. 2.

Mini Clubvan concept

Mon, 20 Feb 2012

The 2012 Geneva motor show will see Mini further expand its brand with a new commercial model. The Clubvan concept is essentially a panel van variant of the Clubman wagon, pitched at premium small business as an up-market alternative to the traditional city van. The Clubvan retains the Clubman's asymmetrical body shell, complete with double rear doors and the small 'club door' on the right-hand side of the car.
