We got the reveal of the new Bentley Continental GT V8 – and the Continental GTC V8 – last month, ahead of its public unveiling at the Detroit Motor Show today. Mercedes unveiled its first ever diesel hybrid at the 2010 Geneva motor, along with a Bluetec version of its ageing Geländewagen and an SLS AMG supercar decked out in full F1 safety car spec. They’re pretty good. The E300 Bluetec Hybrid features Merc’s 201bhp twin-turbo, 2.1-litre four-pot, with a 15kW electric motor positioned between it and the seven-speed auto ‘box.

The redesigned Chevrolet Colorado pickup, which is launching this month in Thailand, will be sold in the United States, Chevrolet said on Monday. The new Colorado was developed by General Motors' Brazil operations to be sold globally. GM said the current Colorado will be sold through the 2012 model year.
