Unlike previous contests that aim to produce cars through open source design, the Terra Prix 2085 contest is set firmly in the future. As the name would suggest, the concept is based around the idea of future motorsport: an around the world race taking in all continents and every variety of terrain.

Mon, 21 Nov 2011Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series Coupe Track & Aerodynamic Pack - lots of photos Mercedes-Benz revealed their latest Black Series car – the Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series Coupe – back in the Summer, complete with a rather frisky 6.2 litre V8 and a 0-60mph of just 4.0 seconds. We then saw on the floor at the Frankfurt Motor Show a C63 Black Series with the addition of a couple of Mercedes add-on packs – the Track Pack and Aerodynamic Pack – which introduced an even harder edge to Mercedes’ most bonkers C-Class. The Track Pack and Aerodynamic Pack are separate option for the C63 Black, but if you’re going to dig in your pocket for the C63 Black in the first place, why not go the whole hog?

Mon, 28 Jun 2010I am now in my office, which is 22 miles from my home. It used up about 1/3 of its charge to get here, with the air conditioning running. It has been plugged in to a 120-volt outlet in the building's parking structure for seven hours.
