New Ford Focus ST (2012): The Video
Fri, 15 Oct 20102012 Ford Focus ST - Video below There’s nothing quite like signposting a new car well ahead of its reveal, and Ford are taking no chances on the 2012 Ford Focus ST with some teasers ahead of the Paris Motor Show reveal and a bit of detail at Paris. Even though the 2102 Focus ST won’t be ready to roll in to showrooms and out to customers for at least a year, we do have some gen on the oily bits. Northumbria University degree show 2009
Fri, 26 Jun 2009Newcastle and cars: for many, that phrase brings to mind the 1971 British cult gangster movie ‘Get Carter', starring Michael Caine. The city isn't obviously associated with cars and the Trinity Centre car park famously used in the movie is about to be demolished as part of major regeneration work that the city has seen over the last 15 years. Northumbria University's magnificent new School of Design, which opened just two years ago, is a typical example of the exciting architecture now emerging in this city and CDN decided to pay a visit to catch up with this fast-developing UK design school.
Jaguar Supermini is Ian Callum’s hobby-horse
Fri, 13 Apr 2012Ian Callum wants Jaguar to build a Supermini Jaguar’s Design boss, Ian Callum, has a passion for Jaguar to build a Supermini – although it could be a way off. Ian Callum’s designs have moved Jaguar from a design pastiche of the past to an individual and contemporary design language that acknowledges the past but cleverly heralds the future. From the XJ to the new F-Type by way of the XF (now even better now it’s closer to Callum’s original C-XF Concept) and even the XK, Callum’s foresight is a big part of Jaguar’s resurgence.
