Hello to all you Harley lovers. In 2003 Harley celebrated its 100th Anniversary of motorcycle making. In celebration Harley made a number of different jackets to acknowledge the long and storied history. This jacket is the denim version. Is is a size XXL (or 2XL if you prefer)

The denim jackey is a favorite of mine because it is understated, and I love the way they age. On the front of the jacket there is simply the Harley Davidson logo tag stitched above the left breast pocket. All the other good stuff is on the back. That includes the winged Harley logo patch that is machine stitched to the jacket. Beneath the winged logo it reads "100 YEARS OF GREAT MOTORCYCLES", machine embroidered into the jacket. On the rear back lower hem is the black leather patch that the early original logo, machine sewn to the jacket. The inside label is exactly where you'd expect it, and it provides the full detail of the jacket contents and how to care for it.

When I say this jacket is in great condition, understand that I do not mean "like new". And that is because denim jackets are designed to ageand to look weathered, just like jeans that get better and softer and more character over time.  So the factory stone-wash and wear gives you a big head start in making the jacket look vintage and worn.

The 2XL size is what really makes this jacket. Bikers are burly dudes and need the large size. Furthermore, there is often a need to wear thermal clothing underneath the jacket. At 2XL you should have room to wear that extra insulation.

Buyer pays $15 to ship this jacket anwhere in the USA, I accept Paypal.

Lancia at the Paris motor show 2008

Thu, 02 Oct 2008

By Ben Barry Motor Shows 02 October 2008 22:57 At the Paris Motor Show 2006, CAR Online witnessed the covers come off the concept that was to pre-empt Lancia’s C-segment superstar. Today the Lancia Delta takes pride of place on the Lancia stand, flanked by the rest of the range: Ypsilon and Musa. It’s the name that probably means most to UK buyers, so the Delta will spearhead Lancia’s comeback to these shores after a 15-year-break in mid-2009.
