This is the primary chain tensioner kit, it fits in the primary chain case of Harley Davidson Big Twin Evolution models from 1985 to 1999. This is FL, FLH, and all FX models. This complete primary chain tensioner kit has 12 pieces to it. The chain tensioner shoe has the part # 39990-65, the anchor plate has the part # 39998-65, the chain plate has the part # 39993-65, the nylon chain pad has the part # 39976-65A. There are 2 bolts and a lock tab that hold the chain plate and nylon pad in place. There are 2 bolts that hold the anchor plate to the back of the inner primary. There is the long bolt, with the flat washer and Ny-loc nut that hold the shoe to the anchor plate. That is 12 pieces in all, with replacement parts, not OEM parts. This same kit also fits 1965 Panheads and Big Twin Shovelhead models from 1966 to 1984.
