FL Front Fender

This is an FL front fender.  It's a chunk of metal that bolts to the forks and keeps mud from hitting you in the face (and gives you a place to bolt shiny stuff).  Not sure what year it fits, looks OEM but I wouldn't swear to it.  Has the indentation for the front trim.

Note: Twisted cycles does not guarantee that you will never be hit in the face with mud when using this fender.  Examine the photos carefully, once you buy it, it's yours.

A
few things you should know about us:

Twisted Cycles is an actual, honest to god motor sickle shop in Fort Worth Texas.  We are located on 2220 Jacksboro Highway and you are free to come by at any time before the auction ends so that you can check out the item, or the tons of other used parts we have piled up.

DON'T ASK to make a deal on this outside of eBay.  We treat everyone honestly and above board even when they don't deserve it.  That means we aren't going to rip you off, we aren't going to rip off eBay or PayPal and we are going to try to avoid getting burned ourselves.  EBay provides a service, they get to charge for it, and they get to set the price.  I don't always like their policies, but if I use them to sell something I'm going to give them their cut.

We want you to know what your getting:

We take high resolution photos from a lot of angles of most things because we want you to see what you are getting. Do your research, look at the photos and be sure it's what you want.  Read our feedback, bid with confidence.

When your order will ship (and how):

Traditionally motorcycle shops are closed on Mondays because races are held on the weekend and that gives you Monday to recover.  Only one of our guys races, but the rest of us stay home in solidarity (sounds better than admitting we just want to go riding).  We are open Tuesday through Saturday, and we try to make sure our auctions end on Sunday.  That means your parts will probably ship out on Tuesday (if you have paid already), and on rare occasions Wednesday.  If you are in town and want to do local pickup that's fine.

We ship most things by USPS, because I've found there is a better chance of it getting there in one piece than the other guys.  Their tracking system is not the best however.  Once your package is picked up it can take up to 48 hours for it to show up in the system.  In the case of priority mail it could be already bolted on your bike before the post office even shows its been picked up.  Don't panic, it's going to get there and if it doesn't you get your money back.

Back to basics for VW, says Walter de Silva

Wed, 25 Jun 2008

By Adam Towler Motor Industry 25 June 2008 13:01 It was an odd place for an inside line into what future Volkswagens will look like, but when head of VW Group design Walter de Silva invited CAR to the old Fiat Lingotto factory in Turin - now a conference and shopping centre – we could hardly say no. De Silva described VW as being immersed in a 'process of defining their design language' which could be read as ‘we’re still sucking our designer thumbs to see what happens’. Audi, De Silva said, had already been through that process and its design DNA was ‘understood by everyone in the company, right down to the smallest details'.

Marvel’s Captain America car by Daniel Simon [w/Video]

Tue, 04 Sep 2012

Automotive designer and futurist Daniel Simon has had his vehicle design from ‘Captain America: The First Avenger' featured in a short animation. This 10-wheeler 1942 supercharged V16 Coupe, the personal car of Marvel's villain Johann Schmidt (the Red Skull), is 7,620 mm long and was inspired by cars such as Mercedes' 540K and the G4. The director's instructions for the car's size  led to a truck chassis having to be used for the practical film version.
