Up for sale is a new Linkert spacer/insulator kit for the 3-bolt, 1 1/4", model M-series carbs, used on Harleys and Indians. It is made form 1/2" thick phenolic linen laminate (reduces heat transfer from engine to carb). Kit includes two .015" thick gaskets and three longer parkerized screws and lockwashers (as shown). Will not distort flanges on carb and manifold when screws are tightened, a common problem with thick gaskets. Feel free to ask questions and thanks for looking.

Just one image has been revealed so far but we're promised a modern vision of the great man's creations, described by Pinin as "a modern vision in the name of exclusivity, innovation and passion".

Hyundai Veloster Turbo gets cheaper

Wed, 19 Sep 2012

Hyundai are set to launch an additional model of the Velsoter Turbo to sit below the Turbo SE for around £2 less. With the regular Hyundai Veloster starting at £18k and the Velsoter Turbo at £22k, Hyundai has worked out there’s a middle ground price point – can you guess what it is? So to fill that gap (yes, it’s a £20k entry point) Hyundai are to launch the bog-standard Veloster Turbo (without the SE badge) which will lose some of the equipment but, as far as we can see, keep the butch cosmetic bits on the exterior.
