Harley Knucklehead Panhead Ul Transmission Kicker Arm 1941-1953 Original Paint ! on 2040-parts.com
East Hampton, Connecticut, US
. ...You are bidding on what looks like a nice original paint barn fresh ONE PIECE 1941 to 1953 Knuckle, Pan or UL Big Twin Transmission Kicker Arm. This one is nice and complete with some original hardware so read carefully please. This one came to me attached to a 47 Knuckle Big Twin Kicker Cover (another auction!) and looks to be pretty correct except for the Pedal Bolt. ...That pedal bolt has the 1035CP markings on it but I think it is too short and the shank has threads up into the pedal bushing area and that might be wrong??> Threads for that bolt and the Kicker Gear Nut are perfect and nothing is stripped or cross threaded. ....The Spring looks like original paint and I tried it in the kicker cover and it appears to have enough spring left for it to be OK for use! ....The mouth of the Arm is not all chewed up but it does have some minor pinch point wear. ...When I try a pedal in it it looks like it is open just a little to much. Usually you can heat them a little and tap down on the top and close the gap a tiny bit so the pedal does not flop around too much. .All in all a nice complete unit for that barn bike or maybe even a restoration on your BT 41-53 H-D! ......LQQK close and be sure what I think it is and know you can use it as there are no returns and all sales are final please. ....PLEASE note; ...I WILL GLADLY COMBINE SHIPPING ON ANY OF THE Transmission PARTS I WILL BE LISTING in the next few days. ............ Shipped USA via UPS Ground Insured or Priority Mail and Priority Mail International for all others. ...NO RETURNS so please be 100% sure that this is the item you need for your application before bidding PLEASE !
