Gas tank was removed from a new Superglide and has been hanging on a bike shop wall for years. The tank overall is nice. The paint surface on the front end and top of tank feels like there is a light residue/film that has collected/settled on the tank over the years. Inside of tank is still clean. Paint has some scratches, marks, etc. Pic #3 Pointing to a small ding. Pic #10 Pointing to a mark/scuff on paint. Exact year unknown (2000?).

With BIK rates set based on CO2 emissions and list price, it’s hard to find a way to beat the system. Even opting for a diesel car doesn’t help because, despite much better economy on the whole from diesels than petrol engined cars, HMRC adds an extra 3% to your BIK rate because diesels emit more of the stuff that matters – particulates and NOx – than a petrol-engined car.
