One new reproduction fat bob style 2:1 speedometer for OHV models from 1936 to early 1962 Knucklehead EL and FL models, Panhead EL, FL, FLH, 45 Solo WL, WLD, WLDR 37 to 52 Servicar 37 to 61, and big twin flathead UL, ULH models 37 to 48.  Of course it’s reproduction, but it sure beats a Harley knock-off which has no Harley logo on your old rider or restoration until you can find or afford a perfect factory rebuild or the rare NOS one which finds it’s way to eBay every now and then.  Beck was a leader in motorcycle accessories back in the 1940’s to 1960’s. This speedo captures 1950’s classic styling and the “step-style” speedometer face Harley started using in 1948 and used until the tombstone speedo was introduced in 1962.  I’ve seen some of the original Beck faces and this is really very good as far as detail is concerned.

Fits in a 4 5/8” opening if you are planning to use this for a custom project.  Otherwise this fits just like a stock Harley Fat Bob speedo in your Harley.

Takes speedometer cable with standard Harley transmission mount and 5/8” female connection at the head.  The speedometer has a male connection on the back as shown. If you need a cable, please see my listing number 290710210777 for a zinc plated reproduction cable

Most people won’t know it’s not an original Beck face on an original Stewart-Warner at curb-side, but they sure know when you don’t have a speedo with a Harley logo.

Please double check what your transmission drive ratio is.  I have no way of knowing if someone else may have changed out the gearing for the later 1:1 ratio.

Please note: this does NOT include any mounting hardware.

PLEASE NOTE: When it's practical, I will gladly combine all your purchases into one shipment for a discounted rate.

A note on shipping:

Please understand sellers on eBay do not set the shipping rates.  Please also understand that sellers are charged a final value fee on the amount of shipping you are charged over and above the fees they pay on the sale and the Paypal transaction.  In addition to that, sellers have the expense of labels, shipping materials, padded mailers, etc.  I do charge a handling fee on some items, but I also offer several shipping options whenever possible to give you more affordable shipping choices.  If you ever think the shipping fee charged is too high, please let me know before leaving a low rating on shipping charges.  It’s rare that I receive such feedback, but I work hard to keep my customers happy.  I’d rather know if someone is unhappy before they leave a low rating.  That’s the only way I can solve a problem.  I don’t ever want a customer to go away unhappy!

Please take a look in my eBay store for other speedometer-related items like speedometer cables and lamp kits for these speedometers in 6 and 12 volts, NOS OEM and reproduction cables and cable cores for speedometers and tachometers for many different models.
Know who you are buying from! We are not a drop-ship operation, each and every part we sell is carefully inspected to assure you get the quality part described in the listing.  We have a no-hassle return policy, and we stand behind the parts we sell because we know what we are selling and shipping to our customers.  Before you make a purchasing decision compare our feedback vs. others.

Peugeot 508 – 5 By Peugeot Concept

Mon, 15 Feb 2010

Peugeot are taking the '5 by Peugeot' Concept to Geneva - the new Peugeot 508 Back in November we reported that Peugeot were going to stop producing the 407 and 607 and deliver a new car to fill the gap – the Peugeot 508. Which makes a whole heap of sense. Apart from in France it’s always been then case that the bigger the French car the poorer its sales are, and the poor old 607 hasn’t exactly set the world alight with its huge sale.

Peugeot today unveiled the all-new 208, which will replace the 207 in spring 2012. Entirely new from the ground up, the French firm's latest B segment model is said to ‘represent a true generation leap' over its predecessor and embody ‘the principles of agility and efficiency'. "The strength of the 208 lies in its style: it is a real ball of energy," says Peugeot's design director, Gilles Vidal.
