SHIPPING CHARGES - PLEASE READ

SINGLE PURCHASE OR SINGLE AUCTION SHIPPING CHARGES:

CLICK THE SHIPPING AND HANDLING TAB ABOVE FOR SPECIFIC SINGLE PURCHASE OR SINGLE AUCTION SHIPPING CHARGES.

MULTIPLE PURCHASE OR AUCTION SHIPPING CHARGES:

SHIPPING IS COMBINED AND BASED ON WEIGHT FOR MULTIPLE PURCHASES.

IF YOU MAKE MULTIPLE PURCHASES OR WIN MULTIPLE AUCTIONS, YOU MUST WAIT FOR MY COMBINED INVOICE TO BE SENT TO RECEIVE THE BEST COMBINED SHIPPING RATE.  DO NOT PAY FOR EACH ITEM SEPARATELY.

INTERNATIONAL BUYERS PLEASE READ:          I ONLY SHIP INTERNATIONAL BY PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL PARCEL.  THIS SERVICE MEETS PAYPAL’S REQUIREMENT FOR “PROOF OF DELIVERY” (SEE PAYPAL USER AGREEMENT SECTIONS 11.5 THROUGH 11.8).  DO NOT BID ON THIS ITEM UNLESS YOU AGREE TO THIS.  PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL ME AFTER THE AUCTION TO ASK  ME TO SEND FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL.

HERE ARE THE FACT’S ABOUT FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL

1)       IT IS NOT TRACKED.

2)      TO MEET PAYPAL’S “PROOF OF DELIVERY” CLAUSE, SHOULD IT NOT BE DELIVERED, IT MUST BE REGISTERED (A $10.80 USPS FEE).  IF FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL IS LOST AND IT IS NOT REGISTERED, THE SHIPPER IS OUT ALL COSTS (BOTH SHIPPING AND THE ITEM SOLD).  THEREFORE, I WILL NOT SHIP UNREGISTERED FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL.  PLEASE DO NOT ASK.

3)      WHILE FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL CAN BE PICKED UP, REGISTERED INTERNATIONAL HAS TO BE DONE “OVER THE COUNTER” AT THE LOCAL POST OFFICE.  SINCE I WORK 10 HOURS A DAY AT MY DAY JOB, I CAN NOT GO TO THE POST OFFICE DURING BUSINESS HOURS  (ALSO THERE IS ALWAYS A 30-40 MINUTE WAITING LINE).

4)      IT IS NOT INSURABLE (PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL PARCEL COMES WITH SOME INDEMNITY AND EXTRA CAN BE PURCHASED).

5)      THE USPS DOES NOT PROVIDE “FREE OF CHARGE” PACKING MATERIAL FOR FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL AS IT DOES FOR PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL.

6)      FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL IS SLOWER.

WITH THE REGISTRY FEE OF $10.80 (THIS IS USPS’S CHARGE, NOT MINE) AND EXTRA HANDLING FEES THAT I WOULD NEED TO COVER MY COSTS,  AND THE FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL USPS CHARGE OF $2.OO TO $5.00 (OR MORE), YOU HAVE SAVED NOTHING AND WILL HAVE TO WAIT LONGER AND MAY BE OUT THE VALUE OF YOUR ENTIRE PACKAGE IF IT DOES NOT ARRIVE.

AS NOTED ABOVE, I COMBINE SHIPPING FOR MULTIPLE AUCTIONS AND I DO THIS BY WEIGHT, NOT BY NUMBER OF ITEMS.  THE WEIGHT OF SOME OF THESE ITEMS IS SO LOW, THE SHIPPING COULD EASILY BE THE SAME FOR FIVE AS IT IS FOR ONE.

I AM SORRY FOR ALL THE  INTERNATIONAL BUYERS HAVING TO PAY THESE SHIPPING CHARGES, BUT I DO NOT SET THE RATES.  THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION.

Toyota starts 'rubbish revolution'

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

TOYOTA has been talking garbage, with ambitious plans to turn waste gases from a landfill site into electricity for building low-emissions cars. The firm’s factory in the American town of Georgetown, Kentucky, will use the new method of harvesting power to both lower its own fuel bills and reduce the amount of harmful gases escaping into the atmosphere. With the system expected to be up and running within 12 months, Toyota has revealed how it is expected to work.

Nissan Extrem SUV concept (2012) first official pictures

Tue, 23 Oct 2012

Nissan is looking to bring a splash of colour and outlandish design to Brazil's streets with their latest creation: the Extrem SUV concept. It's an eye-grabbing response to the 'more affordable locally produced vehicles, which tend to be conservative in design, colour and specification', according to company Senior Vice President Shiro Nakamura. What niche does the Nissan Extrem fall into? If the love-it-or-hate-it Nissan Juke is the marque's jacked-up supermini crossover, the Extrem is the rakish, sportier version of that: a sort of X6 to the Juke's X5, if you will.

Citroen DS 6WR (2014) first official pictures

Tue, 15 Apr 2014

By Damion Smy First Official Pictures 15 April 2014 07:00 The Citroen DS 6WR may have a clumsy name, but it’s the new premium SUV for the maker’s DS range and is crucial to the ‘Back in the Race’ plan announced by new PSA chairman, Carlos Tavares. While Peugeot is showing off the stunning Exalt concept, this is the first picture of the new Citroen SUV ahead of its launch at the Beijing motor show. Part of the plan sees a stepping-up ‘DS’ as a premium sub-brand for Citroen, and that’s why the 6WR takes styling cues from the Wild Rubis concept of 2013.
