This tank was replaced due to marks made from a crow pecking at the shiny reflective center strip. There are 5 very faint marks on the lower right quadrant (looking down from above the top of the tank)Very nice gloss black paint with pin striping, comes from a 2015 Road King

Used tank removed from a 2015 Road King, owner had it replaced due to damage from a crow pecking at its image on the shiny chrome strip console insert, a few peck marks hit the tank on the lower right quadrant area on top of the tank. The  5 marks are hardly noticeable. Photos don't show them, they are so tiny. This tank may fit other Road King years, check with the Harley dealer first, the Description number from the replacement tank receipt is provided. The cost of the replacement tank is $1,133.00, so please understand, this item for sale is reasonably-priced, considering the miniscule marks on the tank. A motorcycle repair shop that does body work can probably "rub or buff" them out. It will be shipped in the same box the replacement tank was shipped in.

Joe Lencki built a DOHC straight six in 1939 that made an astounding (for the time) 417 hp. The engine was in cars that raced, qualified or tried to qualify at Indianapolis all the way up to 1963. It was an innovative monoblock design that, with those cam covers and cooling fins, looks even cooler now than it probably did 63 years ago.
