The die-cast back plate and high-flow state-of-the-art synthetic media washable air filter provide large volumes of clean, stable air to the engine. The backplate features integral crankcase breather passages. Kit includes all required hardware and installation instructions. All EFI-equipped models require ECM calibration. Recalibration is required for proper installation, and will allow engine to rev to 6200 RPM. Race application only.

Fits '08-later Touring models equipped with Screamin' Eagle 58mm Throttle Body P/N 27713-08. Also fits '06-later Dyna, Softail and '06-'07 touring models equipped with 58mm Throttle Body P/N 27639-07.

BMW to show production hybrid X6, 7-series at Frankfurt motor show

A pair of fire-breathing hybrids from BMW based on the X6 and the 7-series will be revealed in production guise at the Frankfurt motor show in September. The ActiveHybrid X6 arrives in the United States late this year, followed by the ActiveHybrid 7 in the spring of 2010. Both hybrids combine electric motors with powerful twin-turbo V8 engines to boost output, performance and fuel economy, while retaining the looks of the popular conventional versions.

The Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany, has prepared a special exhibit celebrating 60 years of Porsches in the United States. The exhibit will include a prototype Porsche 356 Speedster, a 356 America Roadster and a 550 Spyder. It will open on Oct.

“Mad Max: Fury Road” comes out in 2015 with Tom Hardy (Bane, "The Dark Knight Rises") playing Max Rockatansky in the wasteland that used to be the Australian outback. Lucky for us, that means a demolition-soaked, open-world, off-road-style car game is on the way, too. We checked out the trailer on Friday for the "Mad Max" video game, which has been delayed until 2015, and found that it hits all the right buttons.
