This new replacement solenoid black rubber end cover is part # 31444-65A and part # 31475-77. It fits on the end of the solenoid to cover the wire connections on Harley Davidson Shovelhead models from 1965 to 1988 with electric starters. This will fit FL, FLH, and all FX models. This same part will also fit Sportster models from 1967 to 1980. This is a replacement part, not a OEM part. The drain hole for this end cover can be seen in one of the pictures. Steven Rattner, President Obama's auto adviser who steered the government's $85 billion bailout of GM and Chrysler, is about to publish a tell-all account about his six-month stint inside the White House. The Detroit News, Washington Post and Huffington Post obtained draft copies of the book--"Overhaul: An Insider's Account of the Obama Administration's Emergency Rescue of the Auto Industry." Tease and torment because there’s not much chance the A1 Clubsport will make it in to production any time soon, although it’s always possible something similar could see the light of day as the Audi RS1 – a tempting proposition.
