Aston Martin has finally released detailed pictures of its premium supermini, the Cygnet. Based on the Toyota iQ, and sharing the majority of its mechanicals and interior architecture with the Japanese city car, the Cygnet is a major deviation from Aston Martin’s bread and butter luxury supercars. General Motors CEO Rick Wagoner to quit, reports say

General Motors CEO Rick Wagoner is about to resign after eight years as the Obama administration prepares to decide on the automaker's request for additional government rescue loans, two people familiar with the matter said. A senior Obama administration official told NBC's John Yang that Wagoner, 56, was asked to step down by the White House. The automaker, which has lost about $82 billion since 2004, awaits word Monday from President Obama on a request for as much as $16.6 billion in additional U.S.

Infiniti to launch G37 roadster

And the Ferrari California isn't the only folding tin-top being announced this week; the G37 will also be launched as a CC with a multi-piece metal roof that stows at the flick of a switch.  Our artist's impression shows how the new open-top G will look with the roof stowed away. No official photos have been issued yet, but we do know that Infiniti's first roadster will be on sale in the US market in February 2009.
