THIS ITEM WAS A TAKE OFF FROM A NEW 2012 HARLEY SEVENTY TWO XL1200V AT ABOUT 50 MILES. REMOVED AUGUST 2012, IT WAS REPLACED WITH IT'S BLACK COUNTER PART DURING A RETRO STYLE CUSTOMIZATION. THE BAR MEASURES 34" LONG TIP TO TIP WITH A 11 1/2" RISE AND A 1" DIAMETER. THIS IS BEING LISTED AS A USED PART BECAUSE I ACTUALLY PUT A FEW MILES ON THE BIKE WHILE WAITING FOR MY PARTS ORDER TO ARRIVE.

ACCORDING TO THE HARLEY CATALOG THIS BAR "FITS 2007-LATER XL883L, XL883N, XL1200L, XL1200N, XL1200V AND XL1200X MODELS. ALSO FITS '06-LATER FXDB AND '96-05 FXDWG MODELS WITH ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT HANDLEBAR PN #58079-93. XL MODELS REQUIRE SEPARATE PURCHASE OF ADDITIONAL COMPONENTS" AGAIN THIS ACCORDING TO HARLEY. HOWEVER, THAT BEING SAID, THIS BAR CAME OFF OF A XL1200V AND NO ADDITIONAL COMPONENTS WERE USED TO MOUNT MY NEW BLACK BAR. SO AS ALWAYS DO YOUR HOME WORK AND KNOW YOUR BIKE.
