2013 Mini John Cooper Works GP drive review
Mon, 11 Feb 2013Mark Vaughn threw the '13 John Cooper Works GP around Circuito Mallorca a few months back, and the quickest-ever production Mini proved itself to be an excellent track car. The questions one always asks about a car stuffed full of turbo boost and beefy suspension goodies, however, remained hanging before us: Will it be intolerable on the street? Lamborghini Murcielago waves good-bye
Fri, 05 Nov 2010It was a fitting farewell to one of the most audacious Lamborghinis ever built. A group of the most iconic V12 cars ever to put rubber to asphalt gathered at the factory in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy, for a special exhibition before escorting the last Murcielago, an LP 670-4 SuperVeloce, out of the Lamborghini Museum in a symbolic last ride. The 350GT was in attendance at the event, as was the futuristic Miura, a Countach and the fire-breathing Diablo, among others.
Fisker to show Surf shooting brake at Frankfurt
Mon, 05 Sep 2011Fisker will show a new Karma-based shooting brake called Surf at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. This is the first picture of the Fisker Surf, issued after CAR broke the news of the shooting brake earlier in the week. Customers of the Karma have been disappointed by the boot space – pinched by the bulky batteries and range-extender hardware – so Henrik Fisker's team has designed a new shooting brake to offer an expanded luggage hold while retaining the grace of the four-door coupe.
