Ocala, Florida, United States
Condition:Used

Up for auction is a very rare, historical, and valuable piece. In 2008 I bought an original 1930s sprint car with a Miller 151 C.I. marine engine installed. I showed it in original condition at Amelia Island Concourse in 2009. I bought the car from John Jackson Jr. of Mechanicsburg, Pa. His dad John Sr. found the car in 1970 in a garage next to the old Charlotte Speedway, along with another Miller marine engine in pieces, that he did not buy. However according to John, he did get this oil pump from those items. It is in excellent condition. The internal gears look as new. I have no idea what Miller engines this was used on, or if it can also be used on an early Offy engine as well. Free USA shipping. See my other early speed part auctions. Grab the sunscreen for those summer drives

Thu, 16 Jun 2011

You can get sunburned while driving a convertible, but driving with the top up can also result in sun damage to the skin. New research from the University of Washington suggests that people in the United States are more likely to develop skin cancer, such as melanoma and merkel-cell carcinoma, on the left side of their bodies, likely as a result of the fact that the left arm receives more ultraviolet rays while driving. Studies by the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology show that, when skin cancer shows up on one side of the body, 52 percent of melanoma cases and 53 percent of merkel-cell carcinomas occur on the left.
