All ring faces are pre-lapped for easier seat-ing, and in the moly sets, the compression ring features a moly insert on its barrel face de-sign. The exclusive Flex-Vent oil control ring is the easiest of all designs to install because there are no right sides up or sides down. It can’t overlap, can’t gouge and can’t be installed wrong. The 80-plus shoulders on the die-formed stainless-steel stress relieved spacer-expander exerts uniform pressure on the rails assuring positive oil control, and with its open design affords 200% greater drainage capacity than conventional designs.

Mercedes introduces C-Class Estate
Thu, 22 May 2014Mercedes-Benz introduced a wagon variant of its new C-Class today at its factory in Bremen in northwestern Germany. The C-Class Estate is not only an affirmation of the popularity of the Benz wagon, a popularity that transcends decades as well as engine swaps, but also a commitment to Bremen -- a facility that already builds the C-Class, along with the E-Class, SL, SLK and GLK. The C-Class Estate makes extensive use of aluminum construction -- up to 50 percent of its body is made of the stuff.

Mon, 24 Nov 2008The second-generation Infiniti G37 coupe - badged Nissan Skyline in Japan - was previewed by the Coupe Concept at the 2006 NAIAS show and debuted in production form at the 2007 New York Auto Show. Now, at the 2008 LA Auto Show, the convertible version has appeared with a three-part folding hardtop, following BMW's lead with the conceptually similar 3-Series cabriolet. Powered exclusively by a 3.7-liter V6, the G37 convertible comes with a specification that includes leather seats, a 'power walk-in' device that electrically moves the front seats out of the way to help ingress and egress to the rear, and air-conditioning that automatically detects whether the roof is up or down.
