Hawk HPS (High Performance Street) pads for the FD3S RX7 offer a tremendous improvement in braking distance over the OEM pads. Hawk's unique Ferro-Carbon formula was developed for street performance using the safety and quality of Aerospace and Motorsports severe-duty friction technology. The HPS compound offers a high coefficient of friction and can provide you 20-40% more stopping power and improved resistance to fading over the OEM pads. HPS's Ferro-Carbon compound provides your car with increased stopping power, long-life, less dust and reduced noise compared to other after market performance brake pads. All Hawk Performance products provide a limited lifetime warranty, ensuring products to be free of defects from manufacturer's workmanship and materials. Hawk HPS pads are designed primarily for a daily driven RX7 but will hold up under light track duty as well. F4L Auto-parts |

Jaguar Land Rover in talks to buy Aston Martin
Fri, 16 Nov 2012Talks have taken place between Tata – owners of Jaguar Land Rover – and the Kuwait Investment Dar – owners of Aston Martin. We reported a year ago that Aston Martin needed a big car maker behind it to have any chance of survival, and just last week the world caught up with that story as it was revealed the Kuwait Investment Dar – majority shareholder in Aston Martin – was seeking a buyer for Aston Martin. We said a year ago that Jaguar Land Rover was the best fit as a buyer for Aston Martin, but we doubted JLR would want to go back to being the poor relation to AML – as it was in the days of Ford’ ownership of the brands – where a Jag was a poor man’s Aston.

2014 Volvo XC90 on track as part of £3.5 billion investment in Sweden
Tue, 04 Dec 2012Volvo are investing £7 billion in their future – half of that in Sweden – and the first model to benefit will be the long overdue 2014 Volvo XC90. Just like all of Ford’s premium automotive adventures - Land Rover, Jaguar and Aston Martin included – Volvo has suffered from a long period of under investment but now – with China’s Geely in charge – they’re forging ahead with big investment and big plans to try and emulate the turnaround Tata has accomplished at JLR. That means an investment of £7 billion over the next three years – £3.5 billion of that in Sweden – in a new scalable architecture (SPA) platform and new Volvo engine architecture (VEA) to underpin most of Volvo’s future models.
