For auction today is a nice bargain book for the shade tree or any mechanic. This is a well worn Haynes Repair Manual # 36003 for the 1995 to 2000 Ford Contour. Book has been well used with many folds and creases and a small rip in the cover or two, but all of the info is still present as are all of the pages. The 2011 Saab 9-5 SportCombi All has been fairly quiet on the Saab front of late. Spyker are getting on doing what they’re doing to push production and sales in the right direction. There’s been some talk about a Baby Saab – the Saab 9-2 – which will use a BMW/MINI Chassis and we’ve heard a whisper or three about something ‘Sporty’ at the Geneva Motor Motor Show in March.

The McLaren F1 LM Prototype (pictured) will be at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed This year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed is turning in to a proper treat for McLaren fans. As well as the McLaren P1 making its driving debut at Goodwood this year – and taking on the hillclimb, McLaren is taking a trio of legendary F1 cars to the festival too. On show will be the 1995 Le Mans winning F1 GTR, a car which allowed McLaren to become the first racing team ever to win the Formula 1, Indy 500, Can Am and Le Mans Championships.

Rolls-Royce Bespoke creates Year of the Dragon Collection

Rolls-Royce has announced a commemorative offering in preparation for the forthcoming Year of the Dragon celebration, which starts on January 23, 2012. Designed by Rolls-Royce's Bespoke team, the Year of the Dragon Collection has been inspired by the legendary creature that is revered in China, and created to celebrate the ultimate symbol of power, prosperity and good fortune. The collection features unique detailing on both the exterior and interior of the Phantom or Phantom Extended Wheelbase models and includes a gold hand-painted dragon coachline inspired by Beijing's Forbidden City; dragon headrest embroidery available in Tan, Golden Sand, Black and White; a dragon inlay, which will be hand-laid to the passenger panel and include the Phantom name outlined in gold; two hand-stitched cushions for the rear passengers, specified with embroidered double R-R logos and piping; and illuminated treadplates with ‘Year of the Dragon 2012' highlighted in LED lighting.
