Up for bid here is a Haynes Book titled "Volvo 240 Series 1974-1986 Owners Workshop Manual." This Volvo book is by J H Haynes and Bruce Gilmour and it was published in 1986. This paperback book covers 2.0, 2.1 and 2.3 liter engines including DL, GL, GLT and Turbo versions. This is a good sized book measuring 8-1/4 inches by 10-5/8 inches and containing 347 pages worth of information. As for condition, the front and back covers show shelf wear and stains. However, inside this book looks good condition-wise. Its not perfect with a little bit of writing in the front of it and a smudge or two but it will certainly get the job done for practical purposes. Aston Martin drops Cygnet city car

Autocar is reporting that the diminutive Aston Martin Cygnet has been dropped from the company’s portfolio. The automaker, now owned by Prodrive and private equity firm Invenstindustrial, will focus on its “core product range,” also known as “good cars.” Autocar posits that the justification for the Cygnet was to continue producing V8 and V12 cars, while keeping its average CO2 emissions down. The Cygnet shared bones with the Toyota iQ city car and used a 97-hp, 1.3-liter engine and got 58.9 mpg using the U.S.

New Mercedes GL (2013): Price from £59,465 to £91,680

Mercedes has announced that the new 2013 GL will cost from £59,456 for the GL 350 BlueTEC AMG Sport to £91,680 for the GL 63 AMG. The Mercedes GL 350 BlueTEC AMG Sport will cost from £59,465 and gets a chunk more kit than the outgoing GL. That includes Intelligent Light System, bi-xenons, LED daytime lights, AMG body styling, 21″ AMG alloys, Privacy, electric glass roof, AirMATIC, Parktronic with Park Assist, COMAND and DAB radio.
