Brand Information

With a Haynes manual, you can do-it-yourself...from simple maintenance to basic repairs. Haynes writes every book based on a complete teardown of the vehicle. Haynes learns the best ways to do a job and that makes it quicker, easier and cheaper for you. Haynes books have clear instructions and hundreds of photographs that show each step. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, you can save big with Haynes!

Manufacturer Information

Using a Haynes manual is like having a mechanic in every book. Our mechanics and writers work together on the project vehicle to arrive at the best possible procedures for the home mechanic and then photograph the actual work and write instructions so the reader can easily follow along. Haynes manuals include procedures for everything from routine maintenance to complete engine overhaul, and include wiring diagrams in the back of each book. The unique nature of Haynes manuals - with each one written and photographed from the "hands-on" experience gained by a complete teardown and rebuild of the vehicle - continues to set Haynes manuals apart from all others.

BMW readying first M Performance model for U.S.

Fri, 06 Jul 2012

BMW will introduce the first in what will become a line of M Performance models to North America in early 2014 with the M235i coupe. It will take the place of the 1-series M coupe which recently ceased production after a run of more than 6,000 units, some 600 of which were sold in the United States. BMW is renaming the coupe and convertible versions of the 1-series as the 2-series for the vehicle's second generation.

Volkswagen GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo brought to life and heading for Worthersee

Volkswagen GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo brought to life We’ve already had Worthersee Concepts from Skoda, Audi and SEAT, but now we get the Worthersee Concept from the Mother Ship – the Volkswagen GTI Roadster Vision Gran Turismo Concept. VW has brought to life a car created for the virtual world of Gran Turismo gaming and has revealed a series ofd design sketches (above) before the real car makes its appearance at Worthersee. VW are calling the GTI Roadster a supercar with aggressive styling, and the GTI Roadster certainly looks dramatic (although that drama may well be a little less extreme when it arrives in the metal) and, just like the Skoda CitiJet and SEAT Ibiza Cupster Concepts, manages without a roof.

One of the odder things about living in "the future" is that things develop so gradually, hardly any of the really amazing things we're exposed to every day seem amazing or futuristic. If the iPhone had just appeared from nowhere in 2007, there would have been riots, demonstrations and legislation. But since we had a Blackberry first, and dedicated cellphones before that, the iPhone and its progeny were never quite shocking.
