Up for bid is a used Haynes Owner’s Workshop Manual for 1978 – 1987 Dodge Colt and Plymouth Champ – all front wheel drive models with 86 cu in (1.4 liter) and 97.5 cu in (1.6 Liter) engines. The manual has over 310+ pages of valuable information that covers tune ups and maintenance, engines, general engine overhaul procedures, cooling, heating and air conditioning systems, fuel and exhaust systems, engine electrical systems, emissions and engine control systems, manual transaxle, automatic transaxle, clutch and drive axles, brakes, suspension and steering systems, body, chassis electrical system and wiring diagrams. This is a must for the do-it-yourself mechanic. The manual is in great useable condition, but does show signs of use and wear (see PIC). The cover is worn and stained, but the inside is in much better condition. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being brand new, I’d rate this manual at an easy 9.0 for its overall condition. Buyer will pay a fixed $3.50 shipping fee for USPS Media mail with Delivery Confirmation (may take up to 8 days for delivery). Canada residents shipping will be based on International First Class mail as media service is not available. Payments by personal check will ship 5 business days after payment received. Ford B-Max (2012) - first photos of the production car

Wed, 01 Feb 2012

Ford will slide the covers off this production B-Max mini MPV at the 2012 Geneva motor show. It's little changed from 2011's B-Max concept car. The B-Max essentially replaces the fuddy-duddy (but quite strong-selling) Fusion in Europe and is one of the key reasons why we're not getting the EcoSport baby SUV shown at the Delhi motor show in January 2012.

Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo at 2013 Los Angeles Motor Show

Thu, 21 Nov 2013

Newspress Mercedes wowed the LA fashionistas with a cool concept car built in partnership with PlayStation 3 racing game Gran Turismo 6. The new Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo imagines how a super sports car could look in future - think the SLS redrawn for 2020. Finished in a stunning, classic Merc liquid silver paint job, the long dimensions of the Merc Gran Turismo are cartoon exaggerated and all the better for it.

One Lap of the Web: Remembering Ayrton Senna

Thu, 01 May 2014

-- Hard to believe it's been 20 years since the passing of Formula One legend Ayrton Senna, but one Jalopnik reader remembers the bloody weekend in San Marino vividly. A dream vacation in Europe cumulating in the ill-fated Grand Prix: Alan Dahl saw Senna's wrecked car coming into the pits, but like the rest of the crowd, he wouldn't find out Senna's fate until he left the track. "For years afterwards I felt guilty that, not knowing that the tragedy had happened," he said, "that I had fun at the race." -- The excellent 8W, a site of racing driver stories, recounts the last 96 hours of Senna's life.
