Up for bid is a used Haynes Automotive Repair Manual for 1975 – 1979 Toyota Corolla – all models with 71.2ci(1166cc) and 96.9ci (1588cc) engines. The manual has 260+ pages that cover tune ups and maintenance, engines, general engine overhaul procedures, cooling, heating and air conditioning systems, fuel and exhaust systems, engine electrical systems, emissions and engine control systems, manual transaxle, automatic transaxle, clutch and drive axles, brakes, suspension and steering systems, body, chassis electrical system and wiring diagrams. The manual is in great useable condition, but does show definite signs of use, age and wear with greasy fingerprints, stained pages and a stained and creased cover (see PIC). This manual didn’t just sit on the shelf, it was well used. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being brand new, I’d rate this manual at a 8.0 for its overall condition. And it looks like new side impact regulation could scupper AML’s sales in the US. New side impact rules – due to come in to force in the US in September – means that two of Aston Martin’s big sellers – the DB9 and Vantage V8 and V12 – would have to be withdrawn from sale in the US as they won’t comply.
