Toyota Trucks get TRD accessories at Chicago Auto Show

In pursuit of the Ford Raptor, the just-announced aftermarket Lingenfelter Reaper and who knows how many other desert-stompin' pickups and SUVs, Toyota introduced the TRD Pro Series of off-road vehicle packages at the Chicago Auto Show. The Tundra, Tacoma and 4Runner each get kits designed by Toyota Racing Development that will be installed at the factory. All TRD Pro Series kits will include: - TRD Bilstein remote-reservoir shocks - TRD-tuned front springs - TRD front skid plate - A bunch of cosmetic touches like TRD floor mats and shift knobs.

£127k McLaren MP4-12C tops the bill at BCA Auction

A host of luxury and performance cars went under the hammer at the BCA Blackbushe Top Car Auction this week, including a McLaren MP4-12C and a nearly-new Jaguar F-Type. BCA said, "the high-end prestige and sports car market has a strong following with buyers and we have seen lots of interest in high value vehicles during 2013, with bidders prepared to invest six-figure sums for the right vehicle." 1931 Marmon Sixteen convertible is the top seller at Hershey auction

A 1931 Marmon Sixteen Convertible Coupe, one of only 400 Marmon Sixteens built, sold for $517,000 at RM Auction's Vintage Motor Cars of Hershey event on Oct. 8. The Marmon Sixteen was the auction's top-selling car.
