And we’ve got to admit, a classy-looking, swoopy-coupe with a few eco-credentials is not a bad way to go. The Infiniti Essence Coupe - Nissan's show stopper to raise brand awareness for Infiniti ahead of its European launch The Essence is actually pretty imposing in the flesh.
Honda P-NUT Concept at LA
Thu, 03 Dec 2009The Honda P-NUT at the LA Motor Show This is another of those ‘Lets see what we can make’ type concepts with probably precious little chance of being made. But the Honda ‘Personal-Neo Urban Transport’ – or Honda P-NUT – does make for an interesting micro city car concept. The P-NUT is a three-seat (which sounds great in principle, but all 3-seat cars – McLaren F1 included – are a pain for the driver to get in and out) concept with masses of angular lines and glass, designed to be offered with one of three powertrains – a petrol, petrol-electric hybrid or pure EV.

We had lots of internet hoo-haa and speculation this summer that we were about to get the rebirth of the iconic Lancia Stratos, which we struggled to swallow. Even when we managed to grab a photo of the new Lancia Stratos out testing, we weren’t convinced this was a secret Fiat plan to revive the Stratos.
