the MINI Goodwood range is going to grow We finally got the MINI by Rolls Royce – The MINI Inspired by Goodwood – at this year’s Shanghai Motor Show, although it had been on the cards for a couple of years. ‘Inspired by Goodwood’ is a bit less blatant than ‘MINI Rolls Royce’, but it still reflects the prestige and craftsmanship associated with Rolls Royce, as these days Rolls Royce are put together on the Goodwood Estate. When MINI officially revealed the Goodwood, they said they would be building just 1,000 cars, based on the MINI Copper S, but with a non-vented bonnet and custom alloys, burr walnut and cornsilk leather.

2014 Nissan Micra facelift revealed with March debut in Thailand

A facelift for the 2014 Nissan Micra has been revealed with the debut of the new Nissan March in Thailand. But that move to cut production costs took its toll on the Micra with sales in Europe dropping by almost 10 per cent as buyers moaned about the build quality of the new Micra and the lack of a diesel engine option. So now Nissan are giving the Micra a bit of a facelift for the 2014 model year to breathe some new life in to sales, with the new Micra debuting as the new Nissan March in Thailand last week.

NHTSA to study power-steering complaints in the Toyota Corolla

U.S. highway safety officials will begin a formal investigation into electric power steering complaints in the Toyota Corolla, a person familiar with the plan said. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration study will focus on vehicles from the 2009 and 2010 model years, said the person, an agency representative who didn't want to be identified before an announcement is made.
