2014 Toyota RAV4 gets more equipment and a lower price
Tue, 21 Jan 20142014 Toyota RAV4 (pictured) gets more equipment and a lower price Toyota like to think of the RAV4 as the originator of the compact SUV, and as it’s been around for two decades and is in its fourth iteration, they probably have a point. But being the first doesn’t guarantee continued success; that comes from still being relevant and keeping up with the ever growing competition in the market place. General Motors Europe opens new Design Center
Fri, 12 May 2006Being a car designer is often percieved as a glamourous occupation, but few people realise that this typically means working in some of the least inspiring places. Wolfsburg, Detroit and Birmingham are just a few of the locations that are home to some of the largest populations of car designers around the world. GM Europe's location in Russelsheim, Germany is also one of the less glamourous locations but the new design center building opened this week aims to redress the otherwise rather industrial feel of the place where tomorrow's Opels and Saabs are created.
Raikkonen win for Ferrari in Belgian Grand Prix
Sun, 30 Aug 2009Kimmi Raikkonen wind for Ferrari at Spa-Francorchamps But the big winner of the day was Force India, with Giancarlo Fisichella taking his car to an astonishing second place. And there was no luck in the position either, both Fisichella and the Force India were strong enough to have won with a little more luck. Starting from pole, Fisichella was blitzed down the long straight by Raikkonen’s KERS, but managed to hustle the tail of the Ferrari to the end, finishing just 0.9 seconds adrift at the end.
