GRIP RACING HEAVY DUTY Pressure Plates are manufactured from new units, not rebuilt from stock parts. GRIP RACING Pressure plates are 100% tested and computer balanced and go into a six stage heat treating process. Our engineers use a distinctive program called CAD to design a diaphragm that increases clamp load, reduce deflection and maximizes clutch life. GRIP RACING pressure plates increase from 50% to 80% clamping load compared to stock original pressure plate. GRIP RACING pressure plates have stronger drive straps and thicker rivets which ensure more strength and prevent any breakage. All GRIP RACING pressure plates are dynamically computer balanced for smooth operation at high RPM's. GRIP RACING HEAVY DUTY Pressure Plates work with all aftermarket performance clutch discs or even with stock original OE clutch disc. Our pressure plates are suitable for stock, high performance street applications and light-Heavy track use. A stronger diaphragm spring applies substantially more holding force to the clutch disc to avoid clutch slip under load. Recommended for any type of racing or street driving. Clutch cover assemblies (pressure plates):

All cover assemblies endure a unique robotic testing process to ensure proper clamp load and clutch lift separation(release). This step ensures optimal pedal feel for comfortable drivability.
To help guarantee durability, the diaphragm spring (dark fingers in the center) undergo a proper 6-stage heat treatment. This helps prevent the wear that normally occurs at the contact surface of the release bearing. Together, these procedures provide you a like-new pedal feel throughout the life of your clutch.
