That’ll do – we’ve only got 50 of each with that left-over paint to flog.’ And so we get treated to a Limited Edition of just 50 cars each of the Twingo Renaultsport 133 ‘Silverstone GP’ Limited Edition and the  Clio Renaultsport 200 ‘Silverstone GP’ Limited Edition.

Trevor’s Back! TVR sold to new British owner

TVR sold to a new British owner, Les Edgar TVR – once the pride of Blackpool – effectively disappeared from the car scene in 2006 when its Russian owner, Nikolai Smolensky, shuttered up TVR just two years after he bought it from Peter Wheeler and last yeare announced there would never be another TVR. But it now seems TVR has been sold to a British businessman, Les Edgar, who has bought the rights to the TVR name and the right to manufacture parts for existing cars. So far, the only evidence of a return is a new splash page on the TVR website (pictured above) which tells us that TVR are ‘Roaring Back’.

By Jack Carfrae First Official Pictures 28 February 2007 11:29 2008 Jaguar XJ: the lowdown Jaguar is sprucing up its XJ luxury saloon at Geneva next week to keep it fresh until a radical new model arrives in 2009 – and these pictures show the big cat for the first time. There are numerous subtle changes to Jaguar’s flagship saloon, most of which are well within the ‘blink and you’ll miss it’ category, but they add a little more polish to the big saloon, which has always suffered criticism for its conservative design. Most of the changes involve the bumpers, which have been given a more distinguished, deep and chunky look, and a more prominent growler on the revised grille.
