E-Z Returns & Exchange Policy

Before you unwrap your parts double check your fitment and once unwrapped, look the item over before trying to install it. We want every customer to be 100% satisfied with their purchase and know that all parts are fully warranted by the manufacturer.

Damages & Warranties

Damaged Shipments: Do not accept delivery from the carrier if the box has been damaged. If you can snap a picture of the damage and notify us ASAP we can replace the order right away. If you find shipping damage while opening your package be sure to keep all packing material and the shipping box so we can open a claim for you. Notify us right away so we start the process.

Missing Items or Wrong Item Received: Keep the box, packing material, all shipped parts and contact us right away.

Warranties: All products are warranted against manufacturer’s defects. Increasingly, many of our manufacturers handle claims directly to speed up the process of exchange or sending replacement parts. We’re happy to step in and get the ball rolling. Electronic parts must go back to the manufacturer for bench testing. Because issues are often solved over the phone with tech support, call the manufacturer first and be sure to get the name of whoever you speak with if you need to contact us.

Resolution Process: Calling us at 410-451-5181 during business hours (8:00-5:00 pm EST) will get the resolution process going right away. After hours please email us so we know first thing in the morning there is a problem and we will contact you promptly.

Returns & Exchanges Within 30 Days of Purchase

New Items: This describes brand new, unopened, completely factory sealed packaging and product with factory packaging and tags, not torn, greasy, stained, or written on so it can be resold as retail new. Items can be returned for exchange or refund. Buyers are responsible for shipping costs back to us.

Open Box Items: Refers to the condition of ‘new items’ as described above but the factory packaging has been opened or shows signs of handling. Unlike other online stores, we are willing to take these items back if you are willing to accept the fact there may be a restocking fee (up to 20%) and since it will have to be sold as ‘open box’ and discounted accordingly. Opened electronic parts, fuel management systems, and exhaust systems having foam adhesive removed, are not eligible for return. Buyers are responsible for shipping costs back to us.

Used Items: Unless an item is deemed by the manufacturer to be defective, we do not accept any returns on used items. This includes but is not limited to items showing signs of installation or attempted/improper installation (mounting marks, scratches, scuffs), mounted tires/wheels, windshields, discolored exhaust, programmed fuel tuners, bluetooth/communication devices, apparel, items installed contrary to manufacturer’s specifications, seats, etc. We are in the business of selling first quality, factory sealed and new parts and do not have an outlet for selling customer’s used items.

Resolution Process: If you want to return new or open box items please visit our web site and look for the returns tab and fill out the form to receive an RMA number. Keep in mind that no returns will be accepted without this number and that every item is unpacked and inspected upon delivery.

Restocking Fees: Restocking fees of 20% may be applied for authorized returns and are decided on a case by case basis. Contact us through the auction prior to purchase with any questions.

 
Shipping

Shipping is free to the lower 48 United States.  Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico are not part of the lower 48 states and will need to be invoiced for shipping.

Most items ship the same day payment is received if payment is received before 2pm EST otherwise the item will ship the following business day.  Due to UPS shipping items will not be shipped during holidays observed by UPS.

If an item is out of stock or oversold the customer will be notified of the date that the item will be back in stock.

International customers and customers located in Hawaii or Alaska will be invoiced for additional shipping charges.  Some items will be sent via USPS and others via UPS.  Shipping method is determined by Eastern Performance customer service team for the best shipping price with the safe arrival of the package in mind.

International Customs fees and taxes are paid by the receiver and Eastern Performance will not be able to modify the listed value of the item to avoid these fees.  Please contact your local government for the cost of these fees.


GM makes select OnStar services free

General Motors said on Wednesday that it will make unlocking doors, activating horn and lights, and remote start on equipped vehicles standard with its OnStar RemoteLink Mobile App for 2014 vehicles, even if owners decline to pay for other OnStar services. More than 36 Buicks, Cadillacs, GMC and Chevy models are compatible with the app. GM says it gets more than 60,000 requests from forgetful drivers each month, asking for door-unlock assistance, “so it makes sense for us to offer RemoteLink key-fob services to enable customers to lock, unlock or start their vehicle from anywhere they have a wireless or cellular connection,” said Mary Chan, president GM global connected-consumer business unit.

The rumours surrounding the fate of Lotus - especially after the Dany Bahar saga – have been rumbling around the car world for a long time.
