The tuner guys at Hennessey Performance took the Ford Mustang Boss 302 behind their curtain, plopped a supercharger on top--among other things--and headed to the drag strip. The outcome? Hennessey says 11.9 seconds at 124 mph for the quarter-mile--and that's with a 0-to-60-mph time at a Porsche-like 3.9 seconds.

At 660 hp, the Ferrari FF matches the horsepower output of the 2002 Enzo, becoming the most powerful production Ferrari ever. The company built just 349 units of the Enzo from 2002 to 2004, while Ferrari plans to build about 1,000 FFs a year. UK car manufacturing jumps 12%

CAR PRODUCTION is accelerating ahead, driven by demand from Europe, according to the latest figures. A total of 142,158 cars were manufactured in the UK in March - a 12% rise on the March 2013 figure, the Society of Motor Manufacturers (SMMT) said. Last month's figure brought the 2014 production total to nearly 405,000 - a 2.9% increase on the January-March 2013 total.
