CONSTRUCTION PLANS AND MUCH MORE
ALL ON ONE CD
EASY TO USE/PRINT or VIEW

File Photo - may not resemble constructed craft.
You will be purchasing a set of construction plans (drawings) in PDF File Format to construct the Heath Parasol Experimental Airacraft.

This vintage, rare, and very unique aircraft made its debut back in the 1920s, yet remains popular to this day as a relatively inexpensive, fairly easy and fun-filled project for the home-builder and aviation enthusiast.

This one will attract lots of attention!!

If you are a Radio Ham, you're sure to remember Heathkits!!
This aircraft is what the founder of Heath Radio did before that!

Here is what you are getting on the CD

1: Construction Plans in PDF Format

All the drawings that are available for this vintage aircraft design are in this file-set. The clarity is wonderful, and these can be enlarged for printing to suit whatever your need may be. If you want to print to standard drafting size (roughly 42" wide) you may need to have this done at your local printing shop or one of the "big box" office stores since most home printers just cannot handle the larger sizes. Or, you could enlarge the images and print them 'sectionally' then piece them together. This is a surprisingly common practice! Get the Adobe Acrobat Reader (free) here if you need it.
Read the next paragraph - VERY IMPORTANT
You may need to 'improvise' or implement some best-guess independent judgment in this construction project. This is a truly vintage design, over 80 years old, and by contemporary standards may be viewed as "not enough" to complete the project without experience in aircraft construction and design. If this troubles you, then you probably should not consider this project, or you should consult with someone experienced in this aspect of construction to ensure the completion of a safe and usable craft.
2: Construction Narrative Articles (2)
These are from the designer himself! Even though these articles were originally released in 1931, the information should be exceptionally helpful. These articles are not a construction manual and only address portions of the aircraft. They do, however include diagrams and sketches that are not in the Plans PDF file. The articles are in JPG File Format. You can download the IRFAN-VIEW file viewing utility by clicking here. Irfan-View is completely free!!
3: Photo Collection
Nothing beats a few good pictures for motivation! While these are completed and operational planes, and a couple museum items, they will give you that 'kick in the pants' that is sometimes needed in projects such as this. The photo collection is in JPG File Format so the Irfan-View utility is the way to go!!

Toyota FT-1 concept (2014) first official pictures

Mon, 13 Jan 2014

By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 13 January 2014 15:00 Toyota has stunned the 2014 Detroit motor show with this rakish racecar for the road. Called FT-1, it hints at a new flagship coupe model to sit above the much-loved GT86 in the current Toyota line-up. It’s now eleven years since the Toyota Supra went out of production: long enough for a reboot, we think.

Mazda Hazumi concept (2014) first official pictures

Tue, 04 Mar 2014

By Ben Pulman First Official Pictures 04 March 2014 06:00 This is the new Mazda 2 supermini, unveiled this morning at the 2014 Geneva motor show. Okay, okay, technically it’s the Mazda Hazumi concept, but the Japanese company itself openly admits this dinky little hatchback previews ‘ideas for its next-generation B-car’. Incidentally, Hazumi (no, not the cheese, but Hazumi) is apparently a Japanese word meaning ‘bound’ or ‘spring up’ so Mazda’s picked the name ‘to convey an image of a small but vigorous animal, bursting with energy.’ That’s right, and Mazda is using it to highlight its ‘Kodo’ design language, its SkyActiv fuel-saving technologies, and its MZD Connect infotainment system.
