Lamborghini LP 670-4 SV – the ultimate Murcielago
Fri, 13 Feb 2009The Murcielago can in many ways be considered not only the greatest Lamborghini ever made, but also the last of the ‘Real’ Lambos. Just like Lamborghinis of old, it is still as mad as a hatter, but that madness is tempered by a dose of Audi build quality and common sense. Who the hell is Rory Carroll, and what is he doing to your autoweek.com?
Mon, 19 Mar 2012My name is Rory Carroll, and as of this week, my full-time job is to be hopelessly obsessed with cars, and to share that obsession with you, the readers of autoweek.com. For whatever reason, I have more or less always believed that making a career writing about cars wasn't quite a realistic-enough option to pursue. More than 1,000 Porsche 911 to celebrate 50th anniversary at 2013 Silverstone Classic
Wed, 05 Jun 2013Classic Porsche 911s will be at the Silverstone Classic Anniversary Parde Ferrari managed a record parade of 964 Ferraris at Ferrari’s 2012 Racing Days at Silverstone last year and now, with 2013 being the 50th anniversary of the launch of the Porsche 911, Silverstone are planning a parade of over 1,000 911s at this year’s Silverstone Classic. Mind you, with over 800,000 Porsche 911s produced since the first 911 arrived in 1963, it will have been a lot easier to find 911s than it was Ferraris. In fact, it’s been so easy the applications to take part by 911 owners has been oversubscribed.
