This is a Hehr RV window.  It is used.  It was removed from a 1987 Massachusetts State Police RV.  It is 26x16 inches.  It is about 2 inches thick, so it is meant for an insulated wall.  If you want to put this in a van or a trailer, you will need to shim it.  I figure if you want to put it in a van or trailer, you can figure out how to do that.

From sitting in the sun outside a barracks, the rubber seal has contracted in length.  You could either buy a new seal, or caulk the gap.

The window worked fine for me, but I installed a larger "escape" style window that I bought off of ebay.

I was going to save this for some mythical future project, but I need to clean up.

Porsche 911 GT3 R racer rockets to America

Wed, 01 Dec 2010

The potent Porsche 911 GT3 R is bringing its vaunted blend of 480 hp and lightweight construction to the United States. But here’s the rub--only three are en route. The race car replaced the 911 GT3 Cup S in Porsche’s motorsports line and has become a staple of European competition.

Are used car prices about to spiral down?

Thu, 04 Apr 2013

CAP – the used car price specialists – are warning that used car prices, particularly ’almost’ new car prices, are set to tumble as nearly new cars hit the market. The car market in the UK has proved amazingly resilient to the general malaise in the economy, with new car sales continuing to rise strongly and used cars seemingly immune to big depreciation drops. But CAP – who gauge used car prices for the motor trade – are warning that this could be about to change as the impact of recent trading in new cars is about to start impacting on used car prices, particularly prices for cars less than a year old.

2014 Mitsubishi Mirage pricing starts at $13,720

Mon, 19 Aug 2013

Mitsubishi has just announced pricing for its 2014 Mirage, not to be confused with the Cadillac Elmiraj. Mitsubishi's version -- being a bit smaller and bit cheaper -- loses a few letters and opts for conventional spelling. As you can see, this Mirage is a little different from the last time we saw back in the '90s (when it was a compact sedan) -- different to the point of being a completely different car in a completely different segment.
