Hella 155 Driving lights NOS Kit from 1980s for Jaguar, Porsche, BMW, etc, US $350.00, image 1
Condition:New other (see details)

This is an installation kit including a pair of unused Hella Halogen driving lights manufactured in Germany in probably sometime in the late 1980s or early 1990s.   Nothing in this kit was ever used, see pictures.  They are new and include the directions for installation and some advertising literature.  I purchased this in the 1990s at a charity auction held by my Porsche club and intended to install them on my early 911s coupe but never did.

They appear from what I can discern from the pictorial instructions to use H2 and H3 lighting elements.  See instructions.

I have European headlights on my 69 porsche using these H2 bulbs and they are exceptionally bright and good performing.  These would work well on a vintage sports car in the era.  They are clearly embossed on each glass lens with "made in Germany" and on the back of the two covers that goes with this kit.  They are 12 volt.

On each lens the following identification info exists:

TOP
TN 10
SAE F77
HELLA
B
E1
8343R19

Sideways on one side of the lens:
001-      119535

I understand that this will fit various Jaguar cars from 1992-1996 and there is another set which appears to be identical to this one on eBay selling for $600.
No reserve, first bid gets it if no one else bids.

The Freelander RS200 by Project Khan - a bit of a bargain I suppose you could say we opened our mouth too soon. It’s only a couple of weeks ago – when we reviewed Land Rover’s latest Freelander 2 HSE – we said in passing that, unlike the Range Rover Sport, you almost never see a pimped out Freelander 2. Wrong.

Shelby-Prudhomme Super Snake Ford Mustang takes another chomp

Fri, 06 Feb 2009

This isn't a wheels-and-wings, limited-edition Mustang kit. Horsepower entrepreneur Carroll Shelby and drag-racing legend Don Prudhomme teamed up to produce the Prudhomme Edition Shelby Super Snake, an 800-hp monster Mustang based on 2007 and later Shelby GT500s. The Snake features a Kenny Bell/Shelby supercharger under a custom forward-tilting fiberglass hood.
