New MINI teased in competition to attend the reveal It may be a few more weeks until the new MIN I is unveiled – 18th November, Sir Alec Issigonis’ birthday – but MINI is already upping the tease with a new competition. The reveal of the new MINI is scheduled to happen simultaneously at events in London, Los Angels and Shanghai and MINI are offering the chance to get an invite to one of the three reveals for three lucky winners. The 493bhp Porsche Panamera Turbo is about to get even more powerful: Porsche has released details of a new range of upgrades available on the Panamera, including a £14k Powerkit pack. A14 to become world’s first wifi road?

Around 70 miles of the A14 between Cambridge and Felixstowe is to become a ‘smart road’ fitted with sensors that monitor traffic movement. These sensors will generate highly accurate information about the level of traffic congestion, which is then wirelessly transmitted to a central control system in order to automatically adjust the variable speed limit.
