Last week we brought you a few mystery car reviews and asked you to guess which vehicle was being reviewed. The response was great and we want to say congrats to @GoldGunsCars, @kokiousis, @buckar00 and @aol_wshutton, who all guessed correctly. The three reviews were of the Porsche Cayenne, Mercedes S55 AMG and Ford Focus SVT, all from 2004.

Magna Electronics develops 'Touchskin' concept [w/video]

Electronics firm Magna is working on a new technology it calls 'Touchskin concept' that has the potential to eliminate traditional switches and instruments inside vehicles. As part of its ‘Intelligent Surface Technology', the Touchskin concept is set to be an integral part of a system that allows the user to control the car via intuitive gestures – such as pinching, tapping and swiping – as we've become so familiar with when using smartphones. The potential design implications are easy to see with the large amount of space made available by removing the traditional instrument cluster and its wiring and the removal of wired-in switches and buttons.

Toyota Prius C Leak - scanned from a brochure Toyota are busy growing the Prius range in to a sub brand in all but name. We’ve got the regular Prius and the Toyota Prius+ (and Prius V and plug-in Prius), and now, following the concept reveal at Detroit, we get the Prius City Car – the Toyota Prius C. The Toyota Prius C has leaked out via a brochure scan from Japan and, although European specs may be a bit different, we get the first proper look at Toyota’s baby Prius.
