College Exhibition: Hongik University Degree Show 2006
Wed, 31 Jan 2007Senior transportation Design students at Korea's Hong-ik University presented their works in the School's Graduate Exhibition 2006 held in October. Running from March 4th to July 10th, the Renault-sponsored project with the theme 'My First Renault', gave the students a fairly open brief to design a personal vision of a Renault vehicle of the near future. The students also had a presentation with Patrick Le Quement, the Renault senior vice president, corporate design, Anthony Grade (vice president) and Jean-Marie Hurtiger, the executives of Renault-Samsung Motor's in their design center in Gi-heung, Korea in November.

Fri, 07 Jun 2013The 2014 Toyota Corolla is the company's eleventh generation of the world's best-selling model, with almost 40 million sold since the first appeared in 1966. In line with the attempt to inject some interest into Toyota's model range (witness the new Avalon for example), this new Corolla is based around the mantra ‘Iconic Dynamism', whatever that might mean. The result is a car that certainly appears more interesting than its forebears on the evidence of these pictures.

Fri, 27 Feb 2009Blimey, there’s been some real speculation over the fate of the Honda F1 team since Honda revealed it had decided, for financial reasons, to withdraw from F1 with immediate effect. We’ve had Prodrive/Aston Martin boss David Richards firmly in the frame, followed closely by a Mexican billionaire called Slim with a Senna in his pocket! But both those, quite reasonable speculations, turned to nothing.
