This auction is for 1 new sealed package containing one (1) ounce of Alodine 1200S powder crystals.  You mix the powder in a ratio of 1.008 ounces per gallon of water. One pound will make 15.873 gallons of Alodine 1200S solution.  By mixing your own Alodine you can reduce the cost to approximately $30.00 per gallon which is a substantial savings.

 

 

We buy bulk quantities (not from API or Aviall) to use for our own aircraft refinishing needs and as such we are able to offer it in smaller quantities.   We have new Alodine 1200S crystal powder that is being repackaged in new vapor seal virgin containers in the quantities described above.  This material is new, unused product that is left over from contracts for the strip & repaint of Bell turbine powered Helicopters. In the past we have purchased the premixed Alodine by the gallon in solution and we have found that the Alodine 1200S that you mix yourself, as is being offered in this ad,   reacts much better and faster on aluminum than the diluted premixed stuff.

 

These quantities of Alodine crystal powder are ideal for Kit airplane builders for the treatment of your aluminum parts to insure the best protection for corrosion resistance and adhesion of your paint finishes.
