Some 2005 and 2006 Chevrolet Corvettes are set to be recalled

Add the mighty Chevrolet Corvette to the list of recalled cars. General Motors is recalling some 2005 and 2006 models for a steering-column problem. About 40,000 cars produced between March 2004 and January 2006 could be affected.

Lotus Evora hits London showroom

Despite the fact that the new Lotus Evora is not due to start delivery until next Summer, Lotus of London, in Park Lane, has this week taken delivery of the first Evora to hit a showroom anywhere in the world, and it will be on show from the 22nd December. The Evora is going to be on display until the 9th January, offering potential buyers, and the terminally nosey, the opportunity to see this exciting new Lotus in the flesh. Finished in Frost White (trendy, but I’m not sure it suits the Evora that well), with a red leather interior, the 2+2 is the first proper new Lotus car for more than a decade.

Car-movie review: Drive Angry

Drive Angry (on DVD and Blu-ray on May 31) starts and ends in the same place--the bowels of hell. Lead actor Nicolas Cage plays dead man on a mission, Milton, who breaks out of the unholy land--in a Buick Riviera--to rescue his kidnapped granddaughter. Along the way he meets Piper, played by Amber Heard.
