Administrator PKF (UK) LLP has spent the past month clarifying the assets of Blackpool Automotive Ltd, the company that ran the Blackpool factory, and it in fact holds several trump cards that could prevent the Russian owner switching production overseas. The sale advert in the Financial Times reveals that Blackpool Automotive controls the TVR trademark in Europe and the US, as well as all the intellectual property rights and tooling for the sports cars.
Audi RS6 claims ice record over Bentley
Wed, 09 Mar 2011Four rings apparently conquers a Continental. A company called Nokian Tyres claimed a new world record of speed on ice when an Audi RS6 ran to 206.05 mph on March 6 in Finland. That betters Bentley's recent record of 205.48 mph just set in February by four-time World Rally champion Juha Kankkunen in a Supersports convertible.
