Honda didn’t disappoint at the 2009 Los Angeles auto show, with the new P-Nut concept car. That stands for Personal-Neo Urban Transport, in case you were wondering. It’s quite a different kettle of fish (bag of nuts?) from last year’s striking supercar hybrid concept car shown a year ago almost to the day.
Detroit Electric SP:01 – it’s a Lotus Exige EV
Thu, 04 Apr 2013Detroit Electric has revealed the SP:01, a Lotus Exige based electric sports carĀ promisingĀ 0-62mph in 3.7 seconds and a range of 190 miles. 999 are being built. Detroit Electric is a re-birth of a once well-known electric vehicle maker in the US (that’s well-known pre-WWII) that’s been revived by former Group head of Lotus Engineering, Albert Lam, set up shop in Michigan with the intention of emulating Tesla’s route to EV credibility by building its own Lotus EV.
CDN-GM Interactive Competition: Phase 2 deadline extended until Sunday 28 September
Fri, 26 Sep 2014Due to the number and quality of the entries that are still pouring in we've extended the deadline for this phase of the CDN-GM Interactive Design Competition to give you a couple more days to upload your work. Remember that during this phase, while your design needn't be fully finalized, you should be firming up your major themes based on your Phase 1 work and the feedback comments from the Mentors and your peers. The entrants progressing to Phase 3 will be announced next week for the final phase of this year's contest ahead of the announcement of the winners in January.
