THIS NEW HITCH WAS PURCHASED AT AUCTION. THIS HITCH WAS AN OLDER VERSION OF THE 90040 MODEL NUMBER. IT WAS RE-DESIGNED TO FIT MORE THAN JUST THE ORIGINAL INTENED VEHICLES. IT WAS NEVER SOLD OR MOUNTED ON A VEHICLE, HOWEVER IT WAS MOVED AROUND IN THE WAREHOUSE A LOT AND GOT RAINED ON. NOW IT DOESN'T HAVE THAT "NEW IN BOX" LOOK ANYMORE. THIS HITCH DOES NOT COME WITH DRAWBAR OR FASTENERS (NUTS & BOLTS). THESE CAN BE PURCHASED AT YOUR LOCAL HARDWARE STORE FOR A FEW DOLLARS. NO PITTED RUST. ALL THE BLEMISHES ON THIS HITCH ARE MERELY COSMETIC. A QUICK COAT OF PAINT WILL HAVE THIS HITCH LOOKING NEW AGAIN.

There’s more disappointment afoot for fans of Audi concept cars. After previous admissions that Ingolstadt wouldn’t build the R8 V12 TDi or an electric successor to the A2, CAR can now reveal that a production version of the Quattro concept first seen at the 2012 Paris motor show has also been canned. However, a high performance Quattro-inspired coupe could still see the light of day, in the form of a Range Rover Evoque-style crossover, CAR understands.

Audi to reveal 230hp S1

Audi is expected to reveal a 230hp quattro S1 at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The hot version of its A1 city car will be powered by the turbocharged 2.0-litre engine used in the Audi S3, and come with four-wheel drive as standard. Using the Polo BlueMotion’s 1.4-litre TDi engine, longer gear ratios and Dunlop tyres that generate less friction, the Ibiza Ecomotive will deliver 74.3mpg and emit just 99g/km CO2, meaning it is tax exempt and, should Ken Livingstone’s recent proposals be approved, get into London’s Congestion Charge zone for free. Performance figures are yet to be announced, but expect 77bhp, 144lb ft torque, a 0-60mph time of around 12.8sec and a top speed of 109mph – figures in line with the Polo.
