High Performance Chevy 4.3 V6 engine block with 4-bolt mains. Originally a 1996, Vortec evenfire, balance shaft engine, cleaned up and modified with hardened 4 bolt mains. Professionally align honed, magnafluxed and ready for a crank. Standard bore, (4.00") for now, but can be bored out to accommodate your preference of rotating assembly, or if I may make a suggestion, this block would work GREAT with the rotating assembly I have available, which consists of a 3.55" stroker crank, and JE Ultralight pistons, (.060 over, approx. 10.5:1 CR), attached to Eagle 6.00" H-beam rods! This combination was professionally balanced together before, and each piston rod combo has been marked for location/balance integrity. Wed, 21 Nov 2007According to GM, the Pontiac SD-290 concept is "Designed to evoke the emotions of classic sports cars". Introduced at SEMA, the vehicle is derived from a Pontiac Solstice but has been transformed into a pure single-seat race car with its passenger compartment made obsolete by a hard tonneau cover. Despite its competition red paint scheme, it is difficult not to relate the SD-290 to the timeless shape of a D-Type Jaguar. We can also see the influence of BMW's 2004 H2R land speed record breaking concept in the SD-290's asymmetrical layout, with its racing cockpit protected only by a small windscreen in front of the driver and a faired headrest and roll-bar behind the seat.
Nissan's Qashqai grabs top award

A panel of judges comprising of used car market and vehicle valuation experts at CAP said: “The Nissan Qashqai has created an entirely new ‘crossover’ sector and prompted other manufacturers to follow by marrying the practicality of a people carrier with the looks of a quality 4x4. By achieving this in a package that also offers economy, handling, strong build quality and reliability the Qashqai has become the perfect used car for our time.” The panel noted that strong demand meant the Qashqai was always highly sought after by trade buyers and customers alike, meaning it depreciated slowly and outperformed the general market.
