It is the Real Thing ---Will not  fit Holley Carbs  unless you make a flat plate to bolt it on and adapt it to the carbs.  See our Blower Shop Scoop for  Carbs. 

 

Hilborn and Enderle  Scoops, and Hat Injections are made from older casting molds that are original molds, in very limited quantities.

There are casting flaws that have been there from the beginning, and will  always be there.   We can’t do anything about it

And the manufacturers won’t.    In addition, as time has gone on, many foundry’s  have closed, leaving the castings to

Be done by very small Mom and Pop  foundry’s  .  It is most common to see pitts and small imperfections  which either won’t buff out

Or would cause too much damage to the casting to try to buff it out.

First teaser video for new Chevrolet Corvette posted

Glimpses--of a clay model, wheels, body panels--is what we get for the first teaser video of the redesigned 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. The minute-long video also sprinkles in some driving footage, from the driver's point of view, of the "Lutzring" test track at General Motors' Michigan proving grounds. It's all part of the promotion effort for the new Corvette that leads to the scheduled unveiling of the car on Jan.

These are the first official pictures of Mini’s not-so-mini Paceman Concept. Mini calls it a Sports Activity Coupe (SAC), but really it’s just a two-door Countryman. And as CAR revealed way back in April 2009, a second sportier version of Mini's biggest model is on the way: the Paceman will almost certainly reach production.

Lexus are teasing a new version of the LF-LC Concept with 4WD and a 500bhp hybrid powertrain for the Australian Motor Show. When Lexus revealed the LF-LC Concept at the Detroit Motor Show at the start of 2012 our collective jaws dropped. It was a stunning two door coupe with the nose from the GS, a profile that had hints of the LFA, a stunning interior and the hope Lexus were brave enough to put it in to production.
