Set-up removed from a big block Corvette that was running on pump gas – not much known about the unit, was removed about 10 years ago in working condition and has been sitting since – includes fittings and check valve w/tee as shown – also includes crank drive for small and big block Chevy as shown – drive is in fair shape with “chew” marks from being installed and removed over the years – looks like the turned the engine over with a vise grips – there is JB epoxy around the fuel inlet area, no idea what condition the casting is in this area – being sold as a core assembly for parts or rebuild – spins smooth

Algae-powered street lights eat CO2

Algae powered street lighting (great Photoshop) A French biochemist – Pierre Calleja – has developed a street lighting system using micro algae that absorbs CO2. The need to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere is contentious - to say the least – but as long as governments use CO2 as a stick to beat motorists and empty their bank accounts it’s sensible to look at ways of ‘balancing’ the CO2 emissions of cars. French biochemist Pierre Calleja thinks he’s come up with a solution that would neutralise CO2 emissions from cars by cancelling it out with his micro-algae lighting.

The Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, Italy, held the annual exhibition of its Master's course in Transportation Design this past June. Done in collaboration with Alfa Romeo, this year's final presentation was attended by Lorenzo Ramaciotti, Head of Styling for Fiat Group Automobiles and Maserati. The final thesis projects presented by the 15 students on the course answered a brief to design the next flagship sedan from Alfa Romeo.
