The LS Chevy engines were designed by GM engineers who were racers at heart.

Using a clean sheet of paper, they employed racing components and technology such as cylinder heads with shallow valve angles,

thin piston rings, titanium connecting rods and even dry sump oiling systems.

These components conspire to make tremendous power while retaining street manners and fuel economy.

Because of this, the LS engines are now poised to be the greatest small block engines

GM has ever built. We know how good the LS engines are and a

A Hilborn from Alkydigger, their Premier Dealer  would be the crowning touch for your LS project.

Available as a three piece manifold, the LS injector it is at home

on anything from street rods all the way to high horsepower racing applications.

See for yourself how a Hilborn can make the greatest small block ever…

even better. Hilborn injector bare manifold and kits are available for LS1, L92 and even LS7 heads.

Why is a Hilborn from Alkydigger better?

Alkydigger’s is the largest dealer in the Hilborn family,  is always there for support questions with Hilborn’s backing .
Since a Hilborn Injector is part of the IR (individual runner)

family it does not suffer from the disruptive cylinder to cylinder

pulses associated with a common plenum intake.

These pulses promote fuel separation from the air carrier, the slowing of air movement in the manifold,

and the inability to realize engine potential due to poor burn characteristics in the combustion chamber.

The IR design of the Hilborn isolates these pulses allowing the engine to make more bottom end torque,

have increased throttle response and most importantly allow the engine to accelerate faster.

Most applications will also see a significant increase in top end power. These same attributes also allow smoother low speed livability.

Besides, nothing looks better than eight stacks sitting on top of your engine. Have the best of both worlds with a Hilborn!

Skoda Citigo five-door (2012) first official pictures

Tue, 31 Jan 2012

Skoda will show this slightly more practical Citigo five-door at the 2012 Geneva motor show. Mirroring the VW Up five-door, the Czechs buck the tradition of offering a single body derivative in the bargain basement city car sector. It's only in recent years that more manufacturers began to offer a choice of three or five doors in the smallest car segment.
